Big Question: How do we incorporate both additional anecdotal information for both knowledge and interest of the students, and make time for the standards? (I'm personally struggling with it with my Novice Teaching)

This website offers an argument about the lack of Native American History in textbooks. The author states that old stereotypes and misconceptions still effect the way Native Americans are viewed in this country.
